(Baha’i
Faith)
Like
every other false religion, this one was started by someone; this someone’s
name is Baha ‘u’ llah. He was born in Teheran, Iran on Nov 12
1817; His name in Arabic means “The Glory of God”. There are approximately 5 million followers
in 232 countries and independent states who believe this man’s teaching that
every 500 to 1000 years God sends a messenger to keep the faithful aware of His
activities. These divine messengers in
recorded history have been Abraham, Moses, Buddah, Krishna, Jesus, Muhammad and, in this
age, Baha ‘u’ llah. They all have “contributed” to God’s revelation over the
centuries. The fundamental teaching of
this faith is unity in the religious, scientific and political arenas of the world
with the ultimate result being universal peace.
Baha ‘u’ llah states that to bring about this universal peace, all forms
of prejudice must be eliminated and that religion must be the cause of this
unity. If this all sounds to good to be true, you’re right, it is. This “divine messenger” has forgotten one
very important aspect of human nature : SIN; nowhere
in his teaching is this mentioned. Another pivotal principle in this teaching
is that everyone must independently investigate truth for him or herself. So I ask you, when someone finds that sin
exists in his or her life and if a person is honest, he or she will, what are
they to do? The Baha’i faith provides no
means of confession and offers no eternal salvation. The Bible is the only source of Divine Truth
that God gave us; the Baha’i doesn’t even consider it in their teachings. If you recall our study on worship, this
religion worships the True God but in a self-styled manner. Only the Bible tells us how we are to worship
God – in an acceptable, true, spiritual manner.
“Come let us worship and bow down: let us kneel down before the Lord,
our maker” Psalm 95 : 6.
